Irfan Malik

Irfan is recognised as a thought leader in Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship coming from proven experience across Emerging Technology, Digital Transformation and Corporate Innovation background playing a significant role aross the Trade and Investment landscape between the  Australian and Indian Eco-systems. He has been driving Australia India Innovation Bridge program, focused on the Startups and Innovation sector to facilitate collaboration and drive global market access pathways for Australian and Indian Startup Ecosystems.

He is a part of the NSW Executive Management Committee for the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) and also the AIBC National Chair for Start-ups and Innovation. 

He is the director of several businesses, including InQ Innovation Global, an Open Innovation Global Ecosystem Headquartered at the Sydney StartupHub based in Australia and with a strong footprint in India (Kochi, Bangalore, Mumbai) and the Middle-East in UAE (Dubai). 

Irfan has held leadership roles across corporate and large enterprises in Australia and his experience spans across Financial Services, Healthcare, Hospitality, Education Services, Defense, SpaceTech, AgriTech/Clean Energy and Digital Media.

Irfan lived in India and in the US before moving to Australia in 2001. He has since supported and mentored more than 100 plus startups globally with several startup investments and fundraise outcomes, worked on initiatives along with Austrade and exchange programs including international delegations coming to Australia from India. 

Irfan was nominated for the 2018 India Australia Business and Community Awards (IABCA) and he supports bright talents from India through the Aspire India Scholarship program and the Sydney Malayalee Youth Forum. 

Irfan has been also appointed as the Global Vice President of the World Malayalee Council (WMC) for the Far-East and the Australian region for the period 2021-2023, representing a vibrant Diaspora community globally and strong migrant community in Australia.

A thought leader supporting global entreprenuership development and scale-up programs and, he has over 25 years of experience in IT and Innovative Business Solutions and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge with participants and partners.

Rinku Razdan

Rinku Razdan is the Founder and CEO of Connections, Australia’s leading multilingual migrant onboarding mobile app, connecting migrants to communities, jobs, training, and social events using data and API (application programming interface).

Herself a proud migrant from India, Rinku came to Australia and re-started her life with nothing but a few dollars in her hand and a small child in tow. Without any family or support, she persevered through the challenges of settling in a new country and being a single mother.

The difficulties Rinku experienced inspired her to assist other migrants in similar situations, through Connections Australia. Drawing on her extensive professional experience as a technology consultant, she was able to build an optimum delivery model for Connections.

Rinku is also a Technology consultant and an Agile champion, having successfully implemented Agile transformations across various large financial institutions. Her expertise in this field is often utilised by senior management when drafting strategic roadmaps for market lead capability uplift.

As a migrant ambassador, ‘tech nerd’ and finance whiz, Rinku has an uncanny knack for building scalable technology solutions which drive global social impact.

She wishes to inspire migrants and women, so she is frequently involved in initiatives such as Think-Tanks to encourage young Australians to initiate or deliver ideas using lean start-up.

Sheba Nandkeolyar

Sheba Nandkeolyar is a proud 1st generation migrant entrepreneur, a brand diversity leader & marketer. She is a passionate champion for Women’s empowerment. A Board Director on Industry and Government Boards, the 1st Woman National Chair of the Australia India Business Council (2016-2018) in its 34 years history & the current National Chair of Women in Business AIBC. 

Sheba lives her dream of assisting marketers to brand affiliate with diverse & multicultural audiences. Sheba is the founder of MultiConnexions Group which focuses on Diversity & Multicultural Marketing through integrated marketing communication, advertising & digital marketing. Her advice is sought by Government and a client list that includes many of the top 10 ASX listed companies. 

Sheba is also the founder of Global Connexions, a company that assists Australian companies with their international market expansion plans and Multicultural & Diversity Marketing Audits. 

She has helped several international companies to launch in Australia including India’s largest bank State Bank of India, Air India, TVB from HK among others. 

Sheba’s experience includes Government (DFAT) & industry boards (Media Diversity of Australia among others). Sheba is the Global Vice President DE & I of the International Advertising Association (HQ in US), where she leads initiatives across several countries.   

Highly awarded and winner of several national & international awards,  Sheba remains committed to mentoring young entrepreneurs & start-ups and young people on a regular basis, along with sharing her industry experience at Business schools.
